We are sorry to inform you that Scott passed away on Saturday, May 28th. It was a peaceful passing. We understand that this may feel rather sudden as it appeared that his Cancer was under such control. While that was the case, the effects of being on chemo for such an extended period of time and all the associated side effects started to take its toll. In the end, his body could no longer fight the mounting complications. Scott developed a passion for trying to help others. This said, he was an inspiration not only in his own fight against this horrible disease but how he helped others in the same fight. Please know that your compassion, words of support, prayers and love brought him great strength. In true Scott fashion, he always viewed this as a team fight. It's important to also thank all the doctors, nurses and hospital staff at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Scott had a deep appreciation, and love, for the entire team. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to ROSWELL PARK CANCER INSTITUTE. Simply go to the web page and be sure to use the pull down menu "making a gift in memory of a friend/family member". His family appreciates everything you have done and your continued thoughts and prayers. Scott's RSVP Family ![]() |

Dear Friends,
