D. Scott Ayers, CEO

Scott Ayers is CEO of RSVP Business Systems, Inc.  He joined RSVP as a partner with Ken Liesegang in 1993.  Scott is responsible for RSVP’s sales, marketing and operational activities.

In 1996, on the occasion of RSVP’s Ten Year Anniversary, Scott added some additional meaning to the RSVP company name:

Prior to joining RSVP, Scott spent ten years with Veramark Corporation (formerly Moscom) in various sales management positions and was instrumental in Moscom’s growth from inception to over $15M in annual revenue, and a leadership position in its industry niche.  Early in his career, Scott held sales and sales management positions with Sykes Datatronics, AMP Inc. and Burroughs Corporation.

Raised in Hamilton, Ohio, Scott earned a B.A. from the College of Wooster.  He has lived in the Rochester, New York area for more than thirty years and is active in a variety of community youth sports programs. 

Kenneth P. Liesegang, President

Ken Liesegang founded RSVP Business Systems, Inc. in 1986.  As President of RSVP, Ken is largely responsible for product related activities, including future technology and product vision, and current product direction.  Ken’s founding company principles are alive and well today:

Prior to founding RSVP, Ken worked in various product management and marketing positions with both Veramark Corporation (formerly Moscom) and Sykes Datatronics.  Ken was employed as an Electronics Design Engineer by McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft earlier in his career.

Ken has resided in the Rochester, New York area for over twenty years.  Having been raised in Wisconsin, Ken earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.  Ken’s interests include Penfield Little League and Scouting, as well as other volunteer organizations. 

 

David A. Heffler, Vice President

David Heffler is the Vice President of RSVP Business Systems Inc.  He joined RSVP in 2000 and became a partner in the company in 2006.  Dave is responsible for all of RSVP’s professional services offerings and activities.

Prior to joining RSVP, Dave held the same title with I.H.L. Inc, an ERP consulting firm that worked with Frontstep (formerly Symix) to provide technical services for their direct clients.  Before I.H.L., he was the I.S. Applications Manager for Azerty Incorporated (a division of United Stationers Co.), a $30 million wholesale office supply distribution company. Earlier in his career, Dave was a Senior Systems Analyst for Marriott Management Services, a $500 million food service division of the Marriott Corporation.

Dave takes a lot of pride in his business and the people who work with him. “We are an experience-driven company,” he says. “All of RSVP’s Professional Services staff had related jobs before coming here. We gained industry experience first, and then went into consulting.”

David was raised in Buffalo, NY and earned a B.S. from Canisius College.  He still lives in the Buffalo area and is active with various charities in the community.
